Objective(s) of the session:

  • Categorize activities using the criteria urgent/not urgent and important/not important, and put them in the according time management quadrants
  • Use the Eisenhower method to manage the activities in every quadrant
  • Be able to explain time management techniques using The Quadrants of Effectiveness game
  • Know on which activities to focus to decrease the time you spend in firefighting mode

Contents:

Did you ever come home from work thinking: “I’ve only been firefighting today, I didn’t even get any substantial work done.” We have too, blaming others for making the mess we need to clean up, blaming management for not investing in tackling root causes. Sometimes, we even thought it was the nature of the job.

Playing the Quadrants of Effectiveness game is a fun way to learn and practice The Eisenhower Method (used in time management and in Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”) to become more effective. So join us and experience how play equals work! Fun guaranteed!
